The seal has a story behind it.
NotaryLOU was built on a simple idea: legal documents shouldn't require an office visit. We bring a commissioned, bonded notary directly to you — homes, hospitals, offices, or wherever the paperwork needs to happen.
Why mobile notary?
Notarization is mandatory for some of life's most important documents — powers of attorney, living wills, real-estate closings, affidavits. But getting to a notary's office during business hours isn't always possible, especially when you're dealing with a hospital stay, a court deadline, or a last-minute real-estate transaction.
NotaryLOU closes that gap. We dispatch seven days a week — including evenings and holidays — so your documents get executed on your schedule, not ours. And because we come to you, there's no waiting room, no parking deck, and no rescheduling your day around a 10-minute signing.
Built on transparency
Every charge is published up front: $10 per notarial act, $0.76 per mile round-trip, and clearly labeled optional add-ons. The price you see in our calculator is the price you pay — no call-out fees, no fuel surcharges, no surprises after the seal is pressed.

When the bank and UPS won't cut it.
A walk-in notary works for a single signature during banking hours. For everything else — complex documents, after-hours deadlines, signers who can't travel, or witnesses on the spot — a mobile notary isn't just more convenient. It's the only solution.
Book a NotaryWe come to you
Banks and the UPS Store expect you to come to them, during their hours. We travel to your home, office, hospital room, or facility — and we're available evenings and weekends when they're closed.
We notarize what they won't
Powers of attorney, living wills, advance directives, and I-9s are routinely refused at the bank counter and the UPS Store. We handle them — mobile, and done right the first visit.
The only option for facility & jail visits
When the signer is hospitalized, in a nursing home, or incarcerated, a walk-in notary simply isn't possible. We coordinate check-in, visitor approval, and bring the seal to the room.
Witnesses provided
Many documents require a witness the bank can't supply. We bring vetted witnesses when your document needs them, so it's valid on the first visit — no second trip.
Same-day, evening & rush
Banks close at five and UPS by seven. We dispatch the same day — including a within-the-hour rush window — so a deadline never waits for business hours.
Transparent, upfront pricing
Your total is calculated before you book — every act, every mile, every add-on. No surprise copy or processing fees tacked on at the counter, and payment is collected only after the seal is pressed.
Bonded. Insured. Auditable.
State-commissioned & bonded
NotaryLOU operates under a current Kentucky notary public commission with a surety bond in good standing. Commission verification is available on request.
Tamper-evident journal
Every notarial act is recorded in a permanently bound journal with date, act type, signer, and document description — creating an auditable trail for every appointment.
Errors & omissions insured
We carry E&O insurance on every appointment, protecting both you and the notary in the unlikely event of a procedural error.
NotaryLOU complies with all Kentucky Revised Statutes governing notarial acts, including the military notary fee exemption under KRS 64.300. Military document notarizations for active-duty service members and veterans are performed in accordance with applicable law — see our discounts page for details.
